Stephen Garner is a menswear stylist and writer based in New York City.

With over 10 years of experience in the fashion industry, Stephen knows style. He began his professional journey in retail, where he served as a visual merchandiser for various brands. After graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, he held positions at leading fashion companies and publications, serving most recently as the Fashion Director at menswear trade magazine, MR.

His signature touch in fashion storytelling is mixing beautiful architecture with clothing from a vast array of luxury and contemporary designers. Having produced and styled photoshoots in New York, Los Angeles, and Miami, Stephen loves to reference the local environment of each specific location. He also finds inspiration from his travels to Europe for the seasonal menswear shows in London, Florence, Milan, and Paris, as well as midcentury design and 1960s and ‘70s fashion.

In addition to all of this, Stephen also finds time to take on special content production and management projects as well as speak on industry panels with like-minded experts across multiple cities.

His favorite part of working in the fashion world is getting to know all of the different characters in this industry, from iconic designers to brand sales reps, (mostly) everyone has a great story. He will always provide his unsolicited opinion when it comes to style choices. He also maintains that Millennials are not ruining the world.
